The Stellar Gospel Music Awards is arguably the biggest night in Gospel Music every year.

The Hosts
This year’s Stellar Awards was hosted by the energetic Tye Tribbett and amazing vocalist, Jekalyn Carr. Interestingly, Carr set a new record as the youngest person to host the Stellar Gospel Music Awards in history. Both hosts were also performers during the event.
The Performances
As expected, the 36th Stellar Gospel Music Awards featured amazing performances by some of the biggest names in Gospel Music. Among the performers were Jonathan McReynolds, Kierra Sheard, Tamela Mann, The Clark Sisters, and CeCe Winans. Other performers include Yolanda Adams, Jason Clayborn, and Hezekiah Walker. Each performance was electric, filling the room with worship in the most amazing way.
This year’s awards ceremony had Don Jackson as the Executive Producer while the show was directed and produced by Michael A. Jackson. Jennifer J. Jackson served as the producer and Executive-in-charge of production.
The Awardees
Counting the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award, the Clark Sisters were the biggest winners of the night. They picked up this non-competitive award along with three other awards. Jonathan McReynolds and Kierra Sheard also went home with three awards each. Other awardees include Pastor Mike Jr., Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Maverick City, Donnie McClurkin, and Jekalyn Carr.
